Green Campus
Heritage Girls School is blessed with a verdant campus, perched as it is on the banks of Lake Baghela. Hundreds of fruit-bearing trees dot the landscape, not to speak of the amla-laden trees that are now synonymous with HGS. The trees provide a free flow of life-giving oxygen to the atmosphere, providing the most conducive environment a boarding school can hope to have.
The school subscribes to solar energy to cater to its needs and to keep its carbon footprint to a minimum. All kitchen waste is recycled to feed nourishment to the organic vegetable and fruit farm which is our pride and joy. Used water is treated for effluence and used to irrigate the farms.
Heritage Girls School is fast moving towards becoming a Clean, Green School!
